The vacation home on Lake Chiemsee is located in a fantastically beautiful area with the Bavarian royal castle Herrenchiemsee and a highly varied landscape - surrounded by lakes and mountains. This opens up all kinds of leisure and sports opportunities all year round.

Herreninsel, Fraueninsel and Krautinsel belong to our neighboring municipality 'Chiemsee', the smallest municipality in Upper Bavaria. While the latter is uninhabited, Fraueninsel has around 300 inhabitants. Among them are fishermen and potters, but also a community of Benedictine nuns who live in the oldest nunnery in Germany. You will also find warm hospitality and a wide range of culinary delights on Fraueninsel. So it's well worth a trip - whether you take your own (sailing) boat or the Chiemsee boat trip!

The beautiful steamers depart regularly from Prien or nearby Gstadt and also stop at Herreninsel with the famous Ludwig II royal castle. stop.
